  4. The facility of private messaging should be added .

    The users should be provided with the facility of private messaging . And group chats . So that authors and readers can communicate and discuss among themselves about new ideas and could provide feedback and comments .
    And hastags should be used .

    Can INKITT make it so that authors can know how many readers are reading their stories, also it will be great if the author's can upload photos and short trailer videos about their stories just like how it's done on Wattpad.

    I really think that we (readers) should be able to use the search bar for putting tags to search... for example if i put #darkromance on the search bar we should able to see the stories connected to the tags that i searched for because the tags you put in search engine is very limited. also, you should put a mute tag where we could mute some tags on a story so we won't able to see them since... me, myself and i for example are not interested on kpop or bts so if i don't want to read stories…

    I'm delighted that Inkitt is hosting both fanfiction and non-fanfiction, but I need more to evaluate whether I want to try reading a story than merely a picture and sentence fragment. I want to know the following:

    • [Required] Author(s): - make sure multi-author stories are well supported!

  12. Add a LIKE or SAVE FOR LATER option as well as an ARCHIVE option.

    As a frequent reader, I'd really like the ability to go through my discover page and select a few books that I think I might enjoy, be able to save them for later, and then if I dont like them long term, be able to archive them so that i know Ive tried it before. I'd also love to be able to archive stories that Ive read completely so that I can go back easily and see what Ive read already.

    I would really like it if readers can form groups by themselves for more specific purposes/to share and introduce more specific genres and subtypes, as right now the community interactions are constrained to the very few default groups

  14. Promote A Variety Of Genre's Except For ONLY Werewolf Books!

    I've noticed that this app promotes a lot of werewolf books. Please, I'm begging you, PLEASE try to make a system where other books and genre's get a chance to shine. It's so hard to find any good reads on this app. I'm tired of seeing all these wolves novels and smut novels. It's so annoying...

  15. a progress bar to indicate how many words you have wrote for the next chapter

    With the progress bar, you can indicate how many words you have already write for the next chapter... Like the nanowrimo stuff. You put a goal on your bar (for example 2000 words) and you have an indicator of what you did (example : 1456/2000 words). And then, the lector can see if the chapter is coming soon or not.

  17. Let books with very little engagement have a chance to be seen by the algorithm

    Show books that haven't been read by anyone or a small few to be seen on the home page so they have a chance to grow. Authors don't have a chance of getting published let alone winning a contest if they are buried by all the popular books
