Submitting new chapters
Can you allow authors to submit their latest edited chapter? Like after writing a chapter/book, authors including me tend to rewrite, edit and polish their work but I realised that they write under each chapter I edit “unsubmitted changes” no matter how many times I try to submit it...

Let us choose what kind of notifications we should get.
I have been receiving notifications for the creative writing class every time someone posts something on there. I've also been receiving notifications every time someone I follow posts on their wall. I don't want to unfollow them, but don't want to receive those notifications either. Could you add a way to turn those notifications off? Thanks.

settings feature that stops self-adverting posts on walls
Some people put in their bio ’no self-ads’ or ’self-advertising on my wall will be deleted’ or ’will do review swap’ etc. but not everyone listens to that or reads it so could we please have a feature in settings that stops those posts? Maybe a system that allows people to pick if they want these posts on their wall or not and a system that recognises these posts and deletes the posts that the user doesn't want on their wall that they picked.

Open more communities so we can have more categories. Especially one for promoting yourself!
My idea is based in communities! As we know we have several communities but not that much of variety when it comes to promoting yourself in the category your story is. it would be best if the book is about fantasy have people know which one is fantasy and look their. Same goes with other categories!

Quick user manual
I'm new and lost. It would help if you have a quick user manual, it could be as simple as a single image. To be honest I don't even know what button to press for archiving a finished story. Also add a way to make the archive private.
I'm sure there are lots of cool features. The UX/UI needs to be simplified if you don't wanna push with a manual. Let's make things quicker!

Report useless reviews that bring rating down because book is incomplete or has nothing to do with the writing or book
As an author, I want to be able to report reviews that bring my rating down severely but have nothing to do with my actual book (the comment with the review makes it obvious). I don't want my rating to go down because someone's mad that I haven't updated and they want to use it as an incentive.

Introduce direct messaging, media in stories, underlined text, and page breaks on the mobile app, and allow better editing in writing app.
There are times when I want to speak directly to someone, and I have to either do it on their wall, or in the comment section of the story. Somstimes, a story or chapter goes very well with a certain song or picture, and I would like to be able to post that with my story. I would also like to be able to use underlined text in my story. Page breaks don't show up on the mobile app, but it seems as if Inkitt doesn't want us to use asterisks instead of page breaks, which doesn't make any sense,…

Get more authors on your platform
I have been a fan of Sandi Lynn, Kirsten callihan , Noelle Adams and many more. But unfortunately they are missing here. Loved the books of Kimi Davis,she is almost like the authors I have read previously. Please take note and try to add the above mentioned authors books as well. I keep on reading same books for the single reason coz I love those stories. But here I am missing them and the app I was using earlier is a total waste. I am loving inkitt and hope you guys won't disappoint your new member.

Similar to adding images and video, I would like to recommend the ability to add music to a chapter. Just something to set the mood for readers :3

Option to have your work as an author or book as a reader be read to you aloud
Many people like to multitask and so with that inkitt should have a feature to have books read to you. I know it's a stretch copying audible but the reader doesn't have to be an actual person, but it would help if it did. It will take alot of time especially if the book is unfinished/get's edited alot. But there should be a way where it reads what's there and for actual completed books that are confirmed by the author themselves it won't ever be edited; maybe those books should be audio and not the others or for actual verified…

Podcast Or Social Media Sponsoring
Inkitt should let podcasters or social media stars in general advertise their app. On anchor, a podcasting app allows advertising for podcasters it would be nice if reading apps popped on their and they can promote their apps more or even on youtube and other social media sites.
