work with other formats than just Word.
I'd like to see Inkitt work with other document formats. I don't use Microsoft Word, and I don't have it on my computer. I recently uploaded a novel to Inkitt, but I noticed a couple problems. I stupidly used WordPad to correct those problems before uploading again, and WordPad completely messed up my formatting. (Because my novel starts with an epigraph in italics, the whole document was now in italics, but because I'm unfamiliar with the site and the process, I didn't realize until I was almost finished with the submitting process.)
Allowing for the upload of an open format (odt, for example), which doesn't require Word for guaranteed formatting, would be great.
Another option would be to integrate with Google Docs, although I have no idea how easy or difficult that might be in practice. I know Google Docs can export open formats, and I believe that doesn't affect formatting the way exporting to Word does.
Thanks for your time.

Can't offer any help on the matter, but wanted to ask if you don't have MS Word because you don't want it, or because you don't want to pay the subscription fee for Office 360?
If the latter is the case, then you could pick up a 2018/19 MS Office Key on eBay for 5€. I wrote almost two books on Google Docs, and I was satisfied with Docs, but when I bought such a key just for fun, I realized I will never go back. MS Word is just a vastly superior tool for writers.
Though there are valid alternatives you could also use. LibreOffice comes to mind. It's basically a MS Office clone for free. It does however not work as well as the original, but far better then Docs.
I believe you can even save your documents in the MS Word format with LibreOffice without any hiccups.I know this doesn't really offer anything to you suggestion, but I hope it does help you in some way.
