Let users upload images via phone
I don't have a computer so having to use a desktop to upload a cover is inconvenient.

Indicate if the book/story has been completed.
Show "completed" if the writer finished writing the book or story.

We already have that since a couple month.
If you add a book to your library, you will get a notification when a new chapter is available. -
Make small edits to make the app easier to navigate.
I wish the library was easier to navigate; The scrolling takes forever and often stops on one cover repeatedly. The history function also hasn't been working lately. I also think a bigger variety would be great in the

Improve commenting on Android
It hides text when the comment gets a few lines long and removes my capitalization. Why would it remove capitalization?

Remove the white buttons at top and bottom of a book.
When reading the buttons to vote, comment, or save the book to your library are at the bottom and then there’s the one at the top for text size. To me those are very distracting and would be better that once you start scrolling to read they go away.
1 voteHi there, this is already possible, tab on the text once and the buttons will hide. Depending on which device you read this should happen automatically when you start scrolling.

Make your site more user friendly by allowing readers to choose a topic or subtopic or category
The Google Play application is very cumbersome to negotiate your site. The picture icons are pleasing and colorful but they are a waste of space. I came to read not look at pictures. I can't utilize your site for the purposes of reading. I am hemmed in to read only a few chosen stories selected by the powers that be, which limits my access. Please rethink the mission of your group that includes author's and readers.

We have multiple genre and subtopics you can pick from when you signup to see a mix of those on the Discover page.
We also recently added a new feature in the top left corner of the Discover page which looks like 3 horizontal lines and a small book icon, with which you can select a specific genre and a subtopic to find specific books you are interested in.
We will additionally implement an advanced search in the next coupe weeks

Engage our readers
It would be nice to be able to engage our readers as a whole to thank them for taking the time to read and review our novels and to remind them to write a review. NOT a place to take on our critiques. A place to positively and personally engage readers because it is very important to connect with your readers outside of your work as well as with.

Add further font choices, both in size and style :)
It would be awesome if there were more choices for font size and style. I love a good variety of fonts and enjoy customizing my writing with different sized fonts and different styles of font.

Add account settings
There should be a way for people is change parts of their account like email, profile picture, and bio. It should be on the mobile app and website.

Know what Genre (Contest)
To know what the genre is on the main page without having to click on the story. That way people can find the novels that interest them quicker.

To have a field for searching the book by its name or the author it would be really good
The searching of a book on inking is quite tiresome and difficult due to the lack of a search bar and due to this inkitt looses it's appeal so for the convince of every one who is a member or future member do this

Make dates more visible.
Add, or make more visible, information about when a story was originally posted, and when it was last updated.
I recently signed up and was unable to find any information about when a story was last updated, making me unsure if I wanted to read it as it may have been abandoned.

Hand out awards at the end of the year
Like Wattpad, it'd be a great incentive for Inkitt to hand out awards to people every year and those winners then become judges for next years awards. It'd drive the amount of readers/writers up.

Make it easier to find stories.
I think it would be great if inkitt could potentially make it easier to find stories through hashtags or sub genres because currently, all you can do is click on a genre and keep strolling until you get to a story that you like which can be time consuming.

we just added a new section in the app where you can browse genres and sub-tags. You can find it on the Discover page in the top left corner. It is a symbol with 3 horizontal lines and a small book icon.
