Have readers answer a couple quick questions for both author and future readers about their initial impressions of the novel. eg first 2
My novel, Secret Monitor Men, has over 1000 chapter reads yet only 1 review while other stories often receive reviews for only 2 chapter reads. A lot of quid pro quo. Must make process more objective. If author reviews you then you can't review them. Need short feedback through each part of story. So after 10 chapters a little poll comes up either made by author or selected by author to collect reader likes & views. Specific questions can be asked like favorite character. Then another after 17 which only asks about last 7 chapters. Must complete to go on.…

Option to block stories with objectionable content/covers
Please add a feature allowing users to block (/turn off) inappropriate content (both books containing it, and covers).

I see no option to move my coverphoto so most I pick have the person's head cut off from view mostly due to the very large resolution requirement. This is a program flaw that is being put on the user and should be fixed on the site instead.

Add a feature to the mobile site that allows you to save what page/chapter you were on before you closed out the tab
It would be great if you could add a way for readers to bookmark what page/chapter (I say that because each chapter is one long page) they were on last. Please?

Better ways to share on social media
I would like a better way to share/advertise on more forms of social media. I don't post to Facebook because it's not affiliated with my writing. I do share my works on Twitter. When I shared it to Tumblr all I can post is the link, but there is no preview of the cover art like when I share my works from other sites. I would like to be able to share with Tumblr and Google Plus.

A new contest idea for fanfiction writers...
I think a good idea would be for writers to write their own way they think their favorite book should have ended. Or maybe even an epilogue if writers thought they were left off at the end of a series. Please consider my suggestion, for I have many ideas for this.

Specific Notifications
Instead of just sending an email that says there is something wrong with my story, I'd like to know what the issue is.

allow upload of simple text formats (txt, md, rtf, odt?)
I can understand not letting html uploads happen (risky), but the ability to upload files would be grand. If you've already written your novel and want to share it, the only way I could find to do that was to copy/paste one chapter at a time. Unga. Sure, I'd love markdown, but even plain text would at least simplify the process of loading new content.

Import Statistics with Imported Stories
The 'Import story form FanFiction.net' is a great feature, but one downfall I see with it is that some of these stories have been up for a while and have gathered some impressive visiting statistics that aren't carried over when brought to Inkitt. If there is some way to integrate these visit stats with your own website, I feel it would greatly benefit some authors.

Increase the character count for the teaser.
It's too limiting right now, and it prevents me from actually writing something decent. Could you increase it so we can give broader summaries for our stories?
