  2. Do something to prevent plagiarism.

    I initially sent this in a PM to Linda on FFN, but since I haven't gotten a response I'll post it here.

    I am concerned about the feature to import FanFictions straight from http://www.FanFiction.net with only the author's FFN link. This could be rather dangerous because it makes plagiarism from other sites much, much easier because it doesn't require any confirmation that you are the author -- and as someone who's had my story plagiarized before, it isn't a very thrilling ordeal.

  3. I would really like it if I could filter out Fan-fiction.

    I'd like to read new and original voices, unfiltered through the works of others. I don't enjoy fandoms.

  4. Votes not counting

    Some students tried to vote for my story in a contest and even though they registered with their e-mail or facebook and the heart would fill in, the number of votes on my story wouldn't go up. I had no idea what to tell them as to why. So I had 10+ people who legitimately wanted to vote for my story who are not counted as voters, even though they went through the trouble.

  6. Non registering voting on the competitions

    Most of my friends have been put off voting because they are being forced to register.
    You should allow non registering voting, you can track the url so to avoid most duplicate votes.

  8. Search Bar

    I just really want you guys to have a search bar. I've tried to invite several friends to incite and they flat-out refused because of the lack of decent formatting.

    The idea of the website is that it's invite-only high quality fanfiction. What's the point if we can't even search for the names of stories or authors?

    And along a similar vein, a Private Messaging function would be nice.

    I would like to know more about the site and who is running it. Writers still are wary after the fanlib affair.Will it remain ad free for example,or is it funded by donations?

    Personally, I don't want to have to scroll through a bunch of stories about things I don't even know in order to hopefully find one that's about something I do know and want to read about. It would be really nice to be have sections to browse.

    Hey Kina,

    A while ago we added the Genre pages and now there is also the possibility to search for specific fandoms. If you press the new “Fandoms”-link in the navigation bar you are able to filter on fandoms and also genres and age rating. I hope this makes it easier for you to find the stories you want to read.

  12. Make it so that readers can see what a story is about before choosing whether or not to read it

    It would be handy to be able to read a brief summary on the plot of a story so you can see whether it's a story you would like to read or not

  13. Create a search bar ASAP

    You need to have a search bar, and a way to narrow your search by all the categories you make us choose from before publishing our stories. Also, you really need to make those details viewable in the story summary, especially the rating and warnings that were ticked off

    In regards to highlighting what rating/warnings the stories have; it is on the planning board and will come soon along with the possibility to filter out ratings, types and categories you’re not interested in.

  14. Implement some quality control

    I was invited here and told this was a site for the best stories from ff.net, but I have been reading and this does not seem to be the case with all stories, some indeed are excellent, but others are typical of ff.net at its worst.

    Every story goes through a QA process, but some grammar, and spelling is obviously okay to a certain degree.
    If you want great books, search in the Popular section of the app. If you want New books that might have some writing issues, you can find them also in the New section of the app

  15. More Features in the Text Box

    It would be nice to stylize our chapters, such as the ability to underline and strike out words. Also, it would be nice to permanently keep the readability of our preference when we read stories on the site, instead of continuously going back to minimize or enlarge the text size.

    Otherwise, good job on building upon the site. I enjoy its exclusiveness. :3

  16. Leave the site open for other readers, but keep posting stories exclusive.

    There are so many stories on this site with no reviews or ratings even if they are several chapters long. How about allowing all readers access to reviewing and voting, but maintain the main point of the site by keeping posting stories for those invited or recommended by members

  17. Book Covers

    It might not be much of a feature, but I think it might be nice if we could have the feature to upload our own book covers for each story that we post. While I like the idea of having a sort of 'cover banner' for our stories right now, it might be nice to see a book cover image as we read each chapter of a story that we like.

  18. Add a delete button for stories authors want to get rid off

    I can't seem I delete an accidental story that I made and since the site seems new I'm guessing you overlooked or forgot to add one.

    In the ‘Story Manager’ you are now able to hover over a story and press ‘Delete’ you can also delete chapters when you’re editing your story.

  19. Make a community element

    It might take some work, but something similar to a live chat or a group board would help if writers wanted to make friends, find a beta-buddy, share stories, or enthuse about fandoms.
