    Can INKITT make it so that authors can know how many readers are reading their stories, also it will be great if the author's can upload photos and short trailer videos about their stories just like how it's done on Wattpad.

  2. Option to add creators to your story.

    If we had an editor or friends, we were writing with, it'd be a lot easier to write together if there was an option to add people to write with you.

  3. A whole new way of finding stories

    I've already emailed this once but I can't help to do it again. The fact that people are unpublishing and republishing several chapters a day from their completed work, just to stay on top of the homepage, really has to stop. It's obnoxious for the readers who have the book in their library because they get ten notifications a day and it's not fair towards other writers. If you publish new chapters then yes, great for you that you can update but not the same chapter over and over again. When I update a new chapter it immediately gets buried…

  4. I wish support was easier to find

    Put it at the bottom under "Contact Us," somewhere near "About Us." I still can't reach anyone so I can tell them that I haven't been able to add the latest two chapters to my book.

  5. Additional insertions for media in the chapters

    This would probably require a field for url/ media insertion for music clips from YouTube or photos within the chapters themselves. When I was on Wattpad, there were possibilities for additional music clips or photos illustrating perhaps the feel of the piece or a photo symbolising a venue etc

  7. Whenever I use my iPad , keeps on glitching

    Not an idea ... if you can fix iPad glitches please. Several times while reading , it goes to the Inkitt home page , lots of times can’t proceed to the next chapter while reading . Happens to any book I read

  8. Make a contest for books that don't get viewed

    For books that have little to no engagement should have a contest of their own, because the other contest is based on how much engagement the book gets but it's not fair to new authors who have books that never get seen. They need the exposure

  9. Half stars

    There have been many times where I want to give someone only half a star off. Their work is not five star material, but it doesn't feel right to knock them down to 4. This can be said for all the stars really. When I give a review I want to accurately show that they need work, and I think having the ability to give a half star up or down would help.

  11. Let authors make their own groups!

    I feel like authors should be able to have their own groups that they can create and promote. This is a good idea because 1- there is more interaction within the community. 2- It might be easier to find specific genres or things you like with more specific groups. 3- People can share their opinions on your book or books that you've written together and tell you things they want to see.

  12. Reader Editing Tools Overhaul

    Hi, everyone. I'm new to Inkitt. Love the writing tools, not so hot on the editing tools.

    So far, I have read five stories by other writers on the platforms.

    As I went through their stories, I made several editorial marks on specific lines. This is my favorite way to give and receive feedback, a feature I'm familiar with in Turnitin and other school programs. (Or the old pen and paper marginalia, of course)

    But, when I checked with the writers, they said my notes didn't show up for them.

    I am very frustrated by the opaque nature of this…

  14. Promote A Variety Of Genre's Except For ONLY Werewolf Books!

    I've noticed that this app promotes a lot of werewolf books. Please, I'm begging you, PLEASE try to make a system where other books and genre's get a chance to shine. It's so hard to find any good reads on this app. I'm tired of seeing all these wolves novels and smut novels. It's so annoying...

  15. More mobile user friendly, maybe link up writing and reading as one app.

    For the app to be quicker and easier to access your story analytics. And it would be handy for the two apps to be as one.

  17. Create more option to interacting with members

    I like what Wattpad has done but it's all over the place with no real guidance. I think the whole awards thing is just amazing. It gives readers authors and members a chance to interact with one another and those stories that may get overlooked have a chance to get some views and insightful feedback. It helps the writers feel good and that's always a good feeling to have. I think the main profiles should be updated to include more. How about having the option to create our own groups and themes.

  18. Add a LIKE or SAVE FOR LATER option as well as an ARCHIVE option.

    As a frequent reader, I'd really like the ability to go through my discover page and select a few books that I think I might enjoy, be able to save them for later, and then if I dont like them long term, be able to archive them so that i know Ive tried it before. I'd also love to be able to archive stories that Ive read completely so that I can go back easily and see what Ive read already.

  19. Custom groups created by readers

    I would really like it if readers can form groups by themselves for more specific purposes/to share and introduce more specific genres and subtypes, as right now the community interactions are constrained to the very few default groups
