  1. Feedback for Newly Started Books

    I think it would be cool to have a category for stories that authors are just starting out with. Or maybe a space for authors to try out a new story and get feedback from readers to see if the story is worth continuing.

  2. Private Groups

    The problem with communal groups is that things get super generic, attempting to appeal to everyone, and that actually lowers sense of community. They can also be a bit overwhelming for new members. With private, customizable groups, a handful of close friends or even strangers can fashion a space that feels tailored to their interests and comfortable to be at.

    The ability to choose to make groups private or public would, of course, aid in a sense of community for those who are shy or only interested in workshopping with a small, familiar group.

  3. Push notifications, font options when reading, quoting, dictionary/ translate

    An option for push notifications without email and an option in the app to change notification settings. Allowing an option for readers to change the font they read in. Option to share parts of the book as quotes (Wattpad has this feature) and an option to look up words and/or translate them.

  5. Choose what kind of notifications we want

    I don't like feeling like I got notifications for my stories only to see that it was for trivial things like people posting in groups.

  6. Fix the lagging

    I only download this apps and it not even 30 minutes yet but when I click the button it takes few seconds to take me to the next page. Please improve this. The Inkitt reading apps also have the same issues

  9. Higher Publishing Standards / Reader Features

    I know everyone wants to feel published and the goal here is to let the reader choose, but the standards are so low that even the "published" work is fraught with grammatical errors. As a reader, it's really off-putting.

    I think the solution here is to help readers understand what they could be voting for (based on real criteria rather than mere preference).   14. Could there be a feature that shows how many people have added your story to their reading list?

    Could a feature be added where you can see how many reading list your story has been added exactly? Like now you can only see when and who has added it when you get a notification, but you don't know exactly how many people are actually following the story. Many other writing sites already have this feature and it's the only thing I noticed lacking from Inkitt. Could this be added?

  17. Block Chain, and Donation System

    I would love for you to move the website onto a block-chain network both to reduce data cost, and allow us to give you cryptocurrency (Bitcoin/Litecoin/Etherium) directly. And would you please add in a donation system so we could give authors money directly that we like.

  18. Create a group for first chapter only reviews

    Many authors have very good ideas, but that first chapter always brings them (also me) down. I wonder if there's a way for readers to let the author know (other than adding a comment) what got them past the first chapter.

  20. Author and Reader Connection

    I think we should have a limit of 1,000 words for our description on our profile... 200 just doesn’t do it, I want to say so much yet I can’t. A reader’s connection to an author is very important and vise versa, we need to have more space to express ourselves on our profile.
