I think inline comments would be an amazing thing to add because it is what makes people want to comment more often. As a writer, I love to read what people are commenting and see the exact line or paragraph that they're responding to.
As a reader, I personally don't like to comment at the end of a chapter since when I do want to say how something made me feel, it would be hard to know what I'm referring to without inline comments. If inline comments are added, I believe that all authors would be getting much more feedback and comments on their stories!
