Feedback for Newly Started Books
I think it would be cool to have a category for stories that authors are just starting out with. Or maybe a space for authors to try out a new story and get feedback from readers to see if the story is worth continuing.

Higher Publishing Standards / Reader Features
I know everyone wants to feel published and the goal here is to let the reader choose, but the standards are so low that even the "published" work is fraught with grammatical errors. As a reader, it's really off-putting.
I think the solution here is to help readers understand what they could be voting for (based on real criteria rather than mere preference). There should be a lot more features engaging readers anyway, but a few early ones could be encouraging readers to challenge themselves with a new genre, offering tokens for free copies of published work for good (highly…

Private Groups
The problem with communal groups is that things get super generic, attempting to appeal to everyone, and that actually lowers sense of community. They can also be a bit overwhelming for new members. With private, customizable groups, a handful of close friends or even strangers can fashion a space that feels tailored to their interests and comfortable to be at.
The ability to choose to make groups private or public would, of course, aid in a sense of community for those who are shy or only interested in workshopping with a small, familiar group.
Could give the ability to use…

let us choose whether the "enter" button posts or creates a <p> in community posts.
I use "enter" to create a new paragraph in almost every other application, so posting so quickly is giving me whiplash. Just a little option in "settings" to select if I have to click "post" or press "enter" to post would be nice.

Block Chain, and Donation System
I would love for you to move the website onto a block-chain network both to reduce data cost, and allow us to give you cryptocurrency (Bitcoin/Litecoin/Etherium) directly. And would you please add in a donation system so we could give authors money directly that we like.

Proofread
Authors need to rely upon their own visual for spelling and grammatical errors and not rely on spellcheck. For example: artefact is correctly spelled artifact. "Her clothes were damped". Correct is "Her clothes were dampened". Sorry, but it makes the story flow much easier. I have noticed many mistakes such as these in published books.

Make it easier to find the work thats been done.
I had done some work and hadn't got back to it for over a week. When I returned to add to my work I just couldn't find it. I ended up deleting the app out of frustration.

Additions to improve Inkitt
I have a suggestion to put different paragraph align options in the chapter writer. As well as a more complete set of editing options, right now the chapter writer/editor feels quite stagnate and restricting.
And also It would be nice to have a specific place to write an authors notes with in the book so readers can see it without it being lost in the comments or on the authors profile and readers not knowing to look there. The authors note is not in the storyitself but it would nice if there was a section above the comments right after…

Create a group for first chapter only reviews
Many authors have very good ideas, but that first chapter always brings them (also me) down. I wonder if there's a way for readers to let the author know (other than adding a comment) what got them past the first chapter.
